The problem is that as with many cocktails, its invention is shrouded in mystery. Tart without hiding the flavor of the base spirt and often a salty note thanks to the rim - this is a drink that truly speaks to summer. The margarita isn’t simply one of the best tequila cocktails, it’s also one of the best cocktails full stop.
